Charlie
Stella - I have absolutely no agreement with
the man's politics (read the knuckslines if you
dare!) but he makes up for it by being one of
the best new crime writers I've read for years.
Tough like Elmore Leonard writing an episode of
the Sopranos while being repeatedly battered about
the head by George Pelecanos.
James
Lee Burke - The South's lyrical crime writer,
JLB's Robicheaux novels are wonderful fusions
of Southern mystery and noir crime. If you don't

one of our favourite authors here at Crime Scene.

incomparable Brit Noir (or possibly lit-noir)
writer and author of the Cal Innes novels.
Carol
Anne Davis - Dundonian by birth and a fantastic
author of crime fiction as well as several excellent
true crime case studies
Elmore
Leonard - why the heck haven't we linked to
Leonard's website before now? You all know we
think he's the goddamn bees' knees!
Ken
Bruen's World - check out terrifyingly talented
noir author Ken Bruen. If you don't love his work,
a whole legion of his worshippers will come round
to your door and beat you into submission. We
here at Crime Scene have definitely seen the light...
Ken
Bruen
- and also Ken's real homepage; the place to keep
up with the man, the myth, the legend...
Charlie
Williams - Author of the twisted Deadfolk
and chronicler of the shitho... um, I mean lovely
wee English town... of Mangel. Check out his Blog,
too, with its sporadic guest appearances by various
Mangel residents but we must beg your indulgence
for the frequent Rocky III references.
Russel
D McLean - yes, our esteemed editor has joined
the blogging community and hosts his own blog/site.
Later down the line there may be a more full homepage,

Mancini mysteries
